Her women's 70m (72-arrow round) record of 682 points was set at the Olympics in Athens on Aug. 12, 2004. ... South Korea and archery success are synonymous, and Park took home an individual gold and was a part of the women's team gold-medal winners at Athens. ... There is no female archer in Olympic history that has won the individual title twice in a row, but Park will have a chance to be the first. ... Since Athens, she has won five different individual events, including the "Good Luck" Beijing tournament last August as a preview to the Olympics. ...
